The presentation and authentic ps1 style was amazing! I loved the intro, exploration, and cutscenes- they all made me feel like I was playing a real retro game! On top of that the unique twist the stay at the lighthouse takes is so cool. I hope to see more from you in the future.

For this game i cant describe my emotional damage. It scared the fuck out of me. Pls make another game like this 9/11.

😊👍

I played this a little while ago and loved it. I have a major fear of the ocean, and this game was able to capture the terrors of every aspect of that. Fear of being both above and below it. Very different but equally awful lol

And of course the mystery of what happened to everyone in the facility was really interesting, and I loved how the truth was revealed slowly through memories. Aweomse job!

This was an awesome experience. You really nailed the atmosphere. I personally really enjoyed the world building. I really found myself getting into the narrative. The fact that you were able to make this by yourself is pretty amazing, it really is a great short horror game. Thanks for making it!

Man this game was creepy as hell.

Atmosphere was very dark and creepy. I love reading notes, exploring things. Overall good game!

Freaking great, especially as a one-man project. I didn't have any bugs, and the atmosphere was well done.  Very evocative of the PS1 RE games; loading door screens, creepy monsters in lab tubes, an abandoned secret facility...

Good stuff!

I featured your game in my video - 25:47

For your first full game, it's alright. The only complaint I have is the speed of some of the text. Half of the time, they feel like they go a little too fast.

Great creepy atmospheric game!

I enjoyed the slow reveal of what happened in this facility! I always found abandoned labs extra creepy and the tense chase at the end was a great finale!

Such an amazing game had that vibe and ambient of PlayStation 1 graphics made a video on the game please check it out.

Those who are checking out my video please leave a like

Thankyou

A really interesting plot and tense atmosphere had be on edge a bit. Loved the mystery of it all!

I am late to the party on this one, but I did really enjoy myself. In particular, the glass cracking as you are walking through an underwater tunnel is quite the experience.

If anything, I would say the game seemed a little over reliant on sudden cutscenes. I feel like there were many times where I barely got to take five steps before I had to watch another scene, which aren't really clear wether they are supposed to be visions or something. Maybe if thye happened after finding notes or such it would make a bit more sense.

Still, a fun one for sure!

Dark and creepy atmosphere and a great story! Loved it!

A nice game with a great lore in it :)

This was really fun, nice work

Full Playthrough No Commentary

This game was a lot of fun! For a game-jam game, I really enjoyed the depth of the story. My only critique is that the enemy sections feel a little too scripted, so there's not a real sense of fear during those moments. Other than that, I had a lot of fun. Great game!

The silent and lonely atmosphere and rich story-telling helped make this game a very enjoyable and effectively scary thrill ride!

This was a super creepy game. It felt very tense as you explored the lab. Great job. Can't wait to see what you make next!

Hey! I did a big roundup on a bunch of games in the jam (including yours) with some thoughts on each. Figured I'd share it here for anyone interested!

Fantastic roundup! 🤘🤘🤘

Thanks! Great work for your first full game. Excited to see more in the future!

I love it! ❤️

I
What a great game! I absolutely loved playing it! The way the story of the game progressed was great and the horror aspect was very well done! I'm very happy that this game isn't one of those horror games that builds up to a very predictable jumpscare!

I really like the concept, the artstyle is great, the game ran very smooth and I didn't encounter a single bug!

Great job on this one!! :D

very good tbh that wave in the beginning really got me lol. Good job!!

Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed it, the concept was very interesting, it was pretty fun game, with all the reading and cutscenes, good work :)

This game was very different from most and it definitely did give off the vibe of an older game. You did an amazing job on that! I didn't like all the reading but that is just me. Overall a interesting story and the seabed with the glass tunnel was very cool.

I really enjoyed this game. It had a great atmosphere, and the story was interesting.

So it ended being a interesting nice little game. It wasn't the scariest game ever but i liked the ambience and the idea behind it. Also liked the fact we still don't truly know what was happening in the lab. Even though we can guess with the hints given by the cassettes and other cutscenes. I was a bit surprised by the wave which strucked the cliff though. It looked cool as heck and the part in the underwater tunnel is the kind of thing that creeps me out in real life so it was a plus.

That's nice!

This is an very polished jam game that really shows off your skills as an animator and storyteller. Thanks for the experience! I posted a review of the game on the jam submission page, and did a playthrough video below:

Are there any plans for a Linux version ?

Possibly, when I sort out the Windows build, but I won't be able to test it. 🤞

Amazing game, fully fleshed out story told with minimal elements. Loved the cutscenes!

Thank you!

Ah snap... I wanted to give it a try but i guess i will need to wait for the pc build.

Aaaaand it's here! Any bugs, let me know and I'll strive to squish 'em!

Is it just for Mac?

Unfortunately yes, for the time being. Until I can get a hold of my PC to create a windows build. Hopefully very soon!

Looking forward to giving it a go
